Jewelry and Soap Care Information

Jewelry Care Information:

Wire wrapped jewelry is fragile. To keep from bending or distorting your piece, always handle your jewelry w/ care & store in a safe, flat place. It’s not advised that you wear your jewelry when playing sports, swimming, showering, bathing, or sleeping. Please keep away from household cleaners or other products like essential oils that may come in contact w/ the metal as it could distort the finish. It should be notes that mild soap & water should not hurt the metal. To slow the oxidation process, it is advised to store your jewelry in a plastic bag away from sunlight, humidity, & heat. Your jewelry will continue to darken over time. In order to keep it bright & shiny, you can either use a polishing cloth or soap & water w/ zero grade steel wool. If your jewelry gets wet, simply dry it completely before storing it.

Soap Care Information:

Wild Wytchy Woman’s, handmade soaps do not contain any synthetic preservatives or artificial hardeners. The following is a list for the care and feeding of your soap to prolong the life of them:

  • Soap dishes that allow for drainage of excess water are best. This is because your homemade soap does not contain anything artificial and water will make it soft/soggy and dissolve quicker.
  • In between uses, it is best feed your soap with plenty of fresh air. The drier it gets, the longer it will last.
  • It is best to use a cotton wash cloth or loofah to extend your soap’s life.
  • It is recommended that you use your homemade soap within 12 months of purchase.
  • Any unused soap should be stored in a dark, dry, and at room temperature place like a linen closet. Excessive heat, light, and moisture are natural soap's worst enemies.
